 Virat kohli centuries and memories

Virat Kohli, the name of whom there is probably no one in the world who has not heard, has made his iron in international cricket with his batting magic, Virat Kohli who has given many bowlers a taste with his batting.

There is no doubt that he is the best player and he can claim to be the most technical player in modern cricket. Virat Kohli is a batsman who can trouble any bowler in the world if he is in form.

Legendary cricketer Virat Kohli has so far scored 24433 runs in international cricket.  He surpassed Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid by completing the target of 24000 runs and has a batting average of more than 50 in the three-way format.  Virat Kohli is the third highest century scorer in international cricket with 71 centuries in his career and he is just one century away from Ricky Ponting's centuries.

Virat Kohli has scored 15 centuries against Australia which is the fourth highest number of centuries against one team by a batsman with Sachin Tendulkar at the top of the list.

Ricky Ponting scored 71 centuries in 668 international innings and Virat Kohli crossed the milestone in just 522 innings till now Tendulkar is the first with 100 centuries.  Virat Kohli has scored 43 centuries in ODI cricket, 27 in Test cricket and 1 century in T20 cricket.

Best century by Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli has also played a brilliant innings of 133 runs in 86 balls at Hobart ground in 2012.  Thanks to which India defeated Sri Lanka by completing the target of 321 runs in 36.4 overs.  Apart from this, he played a brilliant innings of 186 runs against Pakistan in the 2012 Asia Cup.  Not only this, there are many more Virat Kohli innings that are worth watching.

Virat Kohli is the second player to score most centuries in a calendar year.  He achieved the distinction of scoring 11 centuries in 2018 to become second while Sachin Tendulkar is the first to score 12 centuries in 1998.

Virat Kohli's match-winning innings in Test cricket

Virat Kohli has also made a name for himself in Test cricket.  He has scored Seven double tons in Test cricket.  These are the reasons why Virat Kohli is ruling in everyone's heart in a very short time. Virat Kohli is called as King Kohli in Asian countries.

South Africa's brilliant innings of 254 runs in 2019 is also one of Virat Kohli's best innings in Test cricket.  He scored an unbeaten 254 off 236 balls to help India post a good total of 601 runs, and due to this brilliant innings, South Africa suffered a defeat by an innings and 137 runs.

Virat Kohli has scored 200 runs in 283 balls against West Indies in 2016.  It was a long time ago but many Virat Kohli fans like me will also remember this innings in which he paved the way for India to win by an innings and 92 runs.  Virat Kohli has accomplished many such feats and it would not be wrong to call him a legend of modern cricket.

Virat Kohli has recently scored 122 runs at a strike rate of 200 against Afghanistan in t20 cricket which is his first century in t20 cricket.
